In a crisis, it is not only about what information we can access and how fast we receive it. Much more important it is how quickly we can understand that information, trust and act on it.
The ability to act early, to target resources, to protect lives is what defines effective disaster response.
And Space solutions can make the difference in this with:
- better information,
- faster insights, and
- smarter decisions
before, during, and after disasters.
Space not only plays a crucial role in optimising our response to emergencies,
but also has a crucial role in all the other phases of the disaster risk management cycle.
From prevention and preparedness to response and recovery it provides not only timely information, but also broad coverage and deep insight enabling better-informed strategic decisions at every stage.
Congratulations to Slovenia for its strong engagement in Space!
